Respect for your privacy.

Updated 5 October 2026 for this static website. Stichting Barikat Kunst processes only the information reasonably needed for communication, operation and security.

Controller

Data we process

There are no public accounts, comments or contact forms. Email or telephone correspondence may include the name, contact details, organisation and message you provide. Hosting and security logs may include IP address, time, requested page and browser information.

Purposes and legal basis

Data is used to answer enquiries, carry out requested agreements, administer activities, meet legal obligations and maintain a secure website. Contractual necessity, legal obligations, legitimate interests or consent apply according to the purpose.

No advertising

This site sets no advertising cookies and uses no advertising networks, marketing pixels or visitor profiling. No personal data is sold or rented.

Language, cookies and external content

Language pages are stored locally. Selecting a language does not send text or visitor data to an external translation service. The home page uses your saved language choice, then a supported language from your browser, and otherwise English.

YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player loads only after you choose to play a video. YouTube or Google may then process technical information and use cookies under their own terms. External websites have their own privacy policies.

Display preferences are stored on your device. When you select a language, a cookie for this site remembers only its language code for one year. You can change your choice in the language menu or remove it by clearing this site's cookies in your browser.

Hosting and security

Technical providers may process limited data to host, back up and secure the website.

Sharing and retention

Data is shared only for necessary services, activities, legal duties or protection of legitimate rights. Optional external services may process data outside the European Economic Area under their own safeguards. Correspondence and administrative data are kept only as long as needed for their purpose and legal duties; log retention depends on security needs and the hosting provider.

Your rights

Where applicable under the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email [email protected]; reasonable identity verification may be required. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
